Mr. Stephen Lowry, the school principal, applauded the students for their achievement: “Waterford Kamhlaba congratulates all the students and wishes them success in their future endeavours. We hope they will continue to embrace the values of the United World Colleges in the next stages of life. We also want to thank everyone who supported the students and the school throughout the year, from our Governing Council, staff, parents and sponsors.”

For the class of 2017, the focus now switches to university applications. Already, some students have been offered places in tertiary institutions in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom and South Africa.
