Latest Stories - Waterford Celebrates UWC Day!

On Saturday 15 April 2023, we had UWC Day on the Waterford Kamhlaba campus. This event is about the celebration of the diversity of cultures and nationalities represented in the UWC colleges. During UWC Day, students, staff, parents and the broader Waterford Kamhlaba family show a little bit of what their “home” is like to the rest of the school. It features a parade of nations where students represent their own countries in their traditional attires and greet the rest of the school in their home language.

The first item for the day was UWC Day Assembly, characterized by speeches, musical performances and the Parade of Nations, after which all participants enjoyed various foods prepared by students in the food stalls on the campus field.
