On Wednesday 30 March 2022 the school was visited by the Minister for Education and Training for the Kingdom of Eswatini, Honourable Lady Howard Mabuza. This was a learning visit by teachers under the UNESCO Associated Schools Project Network (ASPnet). 32 teachers came to learn best practices on Education and Sustainable Development and they were taken around Waterford’s sustainability projects around the campus.
This visit was part of the Annual ASPnet Teachers Conference that was held at the Southern African Nazarene University and at the Ministry of Education and Training conference room on Tuesday and Wednesday 29 - 30 March 2022. During the campus tour, the Honourable Minister appreciated the various projects on campus, including the Water Harvesting, Biodigester and the Energy Hub which is used to monitor the use of energy on the WK campus. She further encouraged the school to impart the knowledge to other schools around the Kingdom.
