QUALIFICATIONS

Tawanda’s basic qualification:

  • Diploma in General Nursing, which he took at the Harare Central Hospital School of Nursing from 2003-2006.
  • He also did a short course in Aviation For Health Care Providers at the University of the Witwatersrand (Johannesburg Academic Hospital Department of Surgery) in November 2013.
  • He has also done several 1- or 2- day courses:
    • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) at Academy of Advanced Life Support in Johannesburg South Africa (August 2014)
    • International Trauma Life Support (ITLS) 16 - 17 March 2015 at Claassen and Claassen Training in Pretoria South Africa
    • Leadership skills and Management course with Children In The Wilderness in the Okavango Delta in 2009
    • Radiation Protection workshop with Ministry of Infrastructure and Sciences Botswana
    • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) on the 21st of June 2015 at Claassen and Claassen Training School in Pretoria South Africa
    • Basic Fire Fighter 12 November 2013 at Rescue One in Botswana
  • He is interested in sports medicine
  • He has a clean driver’s license

CURRENT OCCUPATION

Tawanda’s current occupation:

  • Clinic Group in Eswatini at Mbabane Private Clinic, Manzini Private Clinic ICU
  • In charge of Traumalink Ambulance Service (all transfers for the Clinic group)
