WK UWCSA Response To COVID-19 Outbreak

The College has continued with its operations during the COVID-19 pandemic period. Following the high anxiety levels within our community and the country, as well as the imminent closure of borders and restrictions to travel (especially in South Africa), Waterford Kamhlaba UWCSA took the prudent step to close for the April holidays early (16th March 2020). The school made a decision to start the April Holiday break from Tuesday 17th March 2020 and Term 2 reconvened under online teaching and learning.

The school has put in place some precautionary measures and is following the advice given by the health authorities. Our prime concern has been, and will continue to be, keeping our student community safe and healthy. Since the situation is fluid, the school keeps making updates in real time and sharing new information as soon as we get it.
